The apprehension of others extinguishing your light necessitates avoidance.

I am the eldest in my family, the one who leads the way. Although I didn’t hear my father’s final words, he had previously tasked me with caring for my siblings and taking on his role for them before and after his passing. This responsibility made sense, considering I am five years older than my sister and eleven years older than my brother. I felt compelled to take action for their wellbeing.

My plan to support the family involved launching a blog and funding other business concepts I had written down, such as fish farming and more. These ventures, including blogging, required significant capital, so I needed to find ways to raise funds. Then my sister stepped in. She had a talent for networking and locating suppliers of affordable items like socks, pants, and other goods that could be bought for less than fifty dollars. She provided the crucial missing piece to my puzzle: Primitive accumulation.

Instead of resorting to begging from the rich members of the extended family or working as a laborer to raise the initial capital, I realised that I had to engage in primitive accumulation. I had to acquire and sell small items to generate profits, which would then be used to fund my larger business ideas.

Initially, I resisted my sister’s influence due to my misguided belief that men should have the final say in financial matters. However, I eventually embraced her approach, and the outcomes were favorable. I excel at devising innovative and exceptional business ideas and envisioning unique production concepts—this is my strength. On the other hand, my sister excels at raising capital through primitive methods, enabling the smaller ventures to gain momentum through the profits generated. This is her strength. It was the combination of both our strengths that served as our sole means to achieve success.

Choosing to separate yourself from those who could extinguish your inner light, whether it’s a vision, a belief, or a persepective, arises from the fear of losing something more substantial than what you could potentially gain. However, determining if someone can extinguish your light is nearly impossible, except by relying on stereotypes and mistaking them for actual knowledge. You have to understand that there was a reason for you existence in a world filled with people who seem not to have the same interior motives as yours. Otherwise, don’t judge the books by covers.

Not every individual who shares common interests with you will necessarily be the best companion in life or in any specific endeavor. It’s not essential to marry a fellow doctor in order to find the compatibility you seek, just as being an engineer doesn’t mean all your friends should also be engineers. Inspiration and support can still be found from friends with diverse interests, as light doesn’t diminish just because other candles are present in the same room. In fact, a room filled with candles could deplete oxygen and pose a threat to all the burning lights.

You gain greater knowledge when you confront individuals close to you who oppose your vision. Your inner light only thrives not solely due to favorable conditions, but because you afford it the opportunity to do so. It’s termed an inner flame because without delving beneath the surface, no one can uncover the positive attributes concealed within. Regardless of the circumstances, you always have the opportunity to delve deeply into self-discovery and guide yourself toward the correct path. It’s also important to assist others in comprehending your intentions. Give them the time needed to grasp your perspective.

You can share the light. You lose nothing by letting people around you improve themselves and take the lead if they can. That way you are raising the table higher and when you work on feeding yourself what you call dining may become something bigger than it should have been.  In moments when external inspiration is lacking, it’s important to proactively cultivate inspiring examples within your surroundings to fuel your own motivation. You nurture these examples by sharing your positivity, actively encouraging your peers to excel and even surpass your own achievements.

If you embody positive energy, focus on sharing it rather than hoarding it, as it’s impossible to contain. You may discover that the individuals who resonate with your vision aren’t necessarily those you expected. Embrace these few believers and guide them as their mentor. Ultimately, the impact of your vision is measured by the number of people who have transformed as a result, regardless of who initially resonated with your light.

Remember, your purpose is not to demonstrate your strength, but to embody it. Avoid engaging in conflicts with those who misunderstand you; instead, conceal your strength. You can’t rewrites beliefs and mindsets that are against yours. But you can wait patiently. The day will arrive when your unstoppable nature will naturally shine through.

It’s possible to collaborate with individuals seemingly at odds with your goals. In this context, cooperation entails positioning yourself to learn from their actions. It’s important to recognise that your own failures alone may not provide all the lessons necessary for growth in life.
