The lions have a hunt to kill success rates ranging from 17-30%, depending on numbers in the hunt. Although they lose much of their prey to other predators, African Wild Dogs, in comparison, have 80-85%. Yet lions are know as the king of the jungle, revealing that there is quality in their lower success chances that can’t be found in numbers the wild dogs have. This says it all—you do not only have to cross the line and get the trophy of success but you have to make it multiply or at least keep it yours.

Old wealth is quite cautious in exhibiting itself through flash purchases. It stays somehow intact while pro-atheletes come in, make millions and end up with nothing in their account some years after their performances. The modern technology makes it easier for one to increase a hunt-to-kill success rates, easily achieve those things that have been harder before. In fact, the age where you had to be born in the nobility family, belong to a certain culture and nationality to become rich is over. Also, social media is now a tool some use to exhibit the false image of success and put you under the pressure of being left behid. That pressure of being left behind scares you and keep you from chasing after high quality success.

You need to welcome the fact that your success do not have to come at the same time with theirs. A sports person needs to be an uprising star as s/he concludes the teenage years. But somethings like become a successful writer can happen any time before you die. So, consider the time requirements for what you want to achieve and give yourself the space, time and peace needed to do so. We all must have fruits and we maybe in the same orchard but we are not the same tree type.

Retreat from friendships and groups that are giving you pressure and the feeling that you are late at producing results. Even if you are pursuing the things that demands success at a young age it is good to understand that we all mature profession wise at different ages no matter how similar the things we are after are. I give two examples of men in sport. One is of a footballer by the name Seirhou Guirassy who plays for a Germany club VfB Stuttgart as of 2024. Guirassy didn’t do good whilst concluding his teenage years and during his early twenties and he was a pain to the coaching stuff. Aged 27 in 2023, he would then score 13 in his first seven Bundesliga matches of the season 2023/24 before an injury took him down. The second is of a golfer who only became a pro aged 46. Although [name needed] didn’t scoop trophies, his late success is unheard of in a sport where much of the pro-golfers have achieved this status in their twenties or earlier.

To achieve great things in your life you need to understand that even when following your passion, you can only water ha passion by doing things that you don’t feel like doing. Therefore, I recommend that you love the method you employ and do not get worried about the amount of resources and time you spend on the things you want to achieve. We mostly spend much of our lives running away from niches, careers, professions, businesses and places we have seen those who come behind us fail in, thinking such were the reasons those who came before us failed. However, they may have failed because the methods they employed were not effective or were too limiting on the extent of success they could achieve. I can say that my people failed to succeed, afford sending their kids to school because they were farmers but someone from humble beginnings is investing in the agriculture industry and making millions out of it.

Do not decide on what to do by counting your failures and their failures on a particular thing. Rather find solutions and do what you have as many solutions as possible for. In fact, when they say you should find a passion they are simply saying that you should do the things you do not run out of solutions in case they are a problem to you.

Build a vision. Don’t plan.

A plan is a simple highway you get stuck in traffic of uncertainty, failure, attrition and suffering. A vision is a roadmap, once you run into traffic you reverse and take a safer subroute. Success does not take the bait of a plan for you to catch it if is rather achieved through taking a long-term path with escape routes that makes waiting for it worth it.
